George Glover died from wounds on 31st March, 1915, after having been sent to a base hospital on the coast, but as yet there is no information as to when and where he was wounded. The 2nd Border battalion was part of 20 Brigade, 7th Division, tand had been involved in the heavy fighting of the Battle of Neuve Chapelle from 10th-13th March, 1915 and after that had been holding the line at at Rue Tilloy.
